Contractor shall be required to provide ASBESTOS AND LEAD ABATEMENT SERVICES on an "as needed" basis at various County owned/leased facilities throughout the County of Santa Clara. All work shall be in conformity with the specifications and all applicable regulations and standards. Contractor shall be responsible for the method, type of material, and equipment used successfully under the conditions encountered in the performance of the work described herein. The successful contractor shall be responsible for all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, and supplies required to perform the work as specified herein. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a bond in the sum of not less than 10% of the total aggregate of the bid price, including all additive bid items. The check or bond must be made payable to "The County of Santa Clara."
