The City of Moreno Valley and the Moreno Valley Community Services District ("City") are soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide backflow testing, repair, and/or replacement services, as defined in Exhibit A, within various City locations. This may include work within the City's landscape maintenance districts, within the right-of-way, at city-maintained facilities, or within City parks and trails. This will be a five (5) year contract. Multi-year contracts may be continued each fiscal year only after funding appropriations and program approvals have been granted by the City Council. 1.2. Background The City is responsible for approximately 392 backflows that must be tested annually. As stated, these backflows are located within various City locations including the City's landscape maintenance districts, within the right-of-way, at its parks and trails, and at City maintained facilities.
