Renovation of a laboratory facility in Moreno Valley, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,060-square-foot, two-story above grade laboratory facility.
The Architect will visit the Site at intervals necessary in the judgment of the Architect to become generally familiar with the progress and quality of the Work and to determine in general if the Work is being performed in accordance with the Contract Documents and as otherwise required by DSA. Question Deadline 03/10/2025 at 3:00 PM PT Request For Information (RFI) due. Renovation of Prep Room 204 to accommodate prepareas for both organic chemistry and chemistry labs; and the renovation and conversion of Science Room 207 to accommodate 14 fume hoods for the organic chemistry lab and other necessary remodeling. Riverside Community College District is inviting sealed bids for the Organic Chemistry Lab Renovation at Moreno Valley College, Bid No. 27-24/25-3. The project consists of the renovation of Science Room 207 Lab and Prep Room 204 to accommodate required setting for the Organic Chemistry Lab at Moreno Valley College. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code, and be licensed to perform the work called for in the contract documents. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active B California Contractor's License at time of award of contract. The Contractor's California State License number shall be clearly stated on the bidder's proposal. Subcontractors shall be licensed pursuant to California law for the trades necessary to perform the work called for in the contract documents at the time bids are opened by the DISTRICT. Each bidder shall submit with his bid, on the form furnished with the contract documents, a list of the designated subcontractors on this project as required by the Subletting and Subcontracting Fair Practices Act, California Public Contract Code Sections 4100 et seq . Each bidder's bid must be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price: (1) cash; (2) a cashier's check made payable to the District; (3) a certified check made payable to the District; or (4) a bidder's bond executed by a California admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, made payable to the District in the form set forth in the contract documents. Each bidder must strive to meet goals and requirements relating to participation by Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises ("D.B.V.E."), of three percent (3%) participation, established by the District, or make a good faith effort in respect thereto and provide the District with a report as to the actual participation at the conclusion of the Project. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding.
