B.C. Pavilion Corporation is seeking to conduct a Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) to pre-qualify Contractors for the Field of Play construction work to be completed at BC Place Stadium (“BC Place” or the “Stadium”) for the FIFA World Cup 26. Section 1 provides a comprehensive list of requirements and responsibilities. Interested Contractors are invited to submit a Response to this RFQ to be evaluated and determined if they will pre-qualify and be short-listed as Qualified Respondents to be eligible to submit a proposal to a subsequent Solicitation, if any. Only Qualified Respondents will be sent and may respond to a subsequent Solicitation, if any. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. installing existing field protection panels over the existing synthetic turf; 2. supplying and installing modular panels such as Permavoid or Drain Talent (type to be confirmed); 3. supplying and installing sand, including root zone materials; 4. supplying and installing irrigation system including pump(s); 5. supplying and installing vacuum and ventilation system including piping, equipment and temporary modular equipment enclosure; 6. supplying and installing FIFA Quality Pro synthetic turf surrounding the field of play; 7. supplying and installing FIFA approved goals including foundations; 8. unloading and installation of the hybrid sod; 9. all quality control testing including FIFA Quality Pro testing on the completed Project; 10. demolishing and offsite removal of all materials at the end of the World Cup (or when instructed by PavCo) including removal of the field protection system; 11. various other items of work related to the above.
