Renovation of an educational facility in North Bay, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Nipissing University is seeking an experienced and qualified contractor to complete Interior Upgrades and Renovations of selected areas on Level 200 and 300 of the F-Wing Area as per the attached Documents. The project will be managed by Bertrand Wheeler Architecture Inc. who has been retained as the prime consultant/architect for this renovation. Piotrowski Consultants Ltd. has been engaged as the mechanical and electrical engineers. Each RFP shall be submitted with a Bid Bond in the name of an approved surety, made payable to Nipissing University in an amount equal to the lesser of 10% (ten percent) of the submitted Price or $10,000, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, if the tender is accepted, execute a general construction contract as specified herein and provide the specified Performance and Labour and Materials Bonds within Ten (10) days of acceptance. Bonding is required for this project. Submit with Appendix C- Rate Bid Form and Bid Bond, an Agreement Bond stating that the surety providing the Bid Bond is willing to supply the Performance and Labour and Materials Payment Bond required. Include the costs of bonds in the Bid Price. The accepted bidder shall provide a 50% Performance Bond and 50% of Construction Cost Labour and Materials Payment Bond.
