Arlington County Department of Technology Services (DTS) seeks proposals from qualified vendors to construct Tree Protective Fencing to protect the trees along the construction path for the new Conduit construction, per The Arlington County Forestry Office specifications. The CONTRACTOR will provide materials and tree construct protective fencing as described in the TREE PROTECTION BARRIERS FOR RESTRICTED SPACE AND TREE PITS detail provided as a separate document and also within the attach plan sheet, for the tree pits along N Courthouse Rd, 15th St N, and N Troy St that are identified asrequired in the Tree Preservation Plan for the FIBER CONNECTION FOR 1435 N COURTHOUSE RD project. The path of that will occur while building an alternate fiber path into the Detention Center at 1435 N Courthouse Rd is also shown in this plan. WORK: 1. Install the protective tree barriers, as described in the attached TREE PROTECTION BARRIERS FOR RESTRICTED SPACE AND TREE PITS detail, at locations indicated in the attached Tree Preservation Plan for the FIBER CONNECTION FOR 1435 N COURTHOUSE RD: a. One (1) 6' x 6' Tree Pit located on N. Courthouse Rd. b. Four (4) 4' x 12' Tree Pits located on 15th St N. c. Two (2) 4' x 6' Tree Pits located on 15th St N. d. Four (4) 3' x 5' Tree Pits located on N Troy St. 2.
