Renovation of an educational facility in Roma, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 16,255-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.

A timeline for the award has not yet been established.*** Question Cuttoff Date & Time 2/24/2025 05:00:00 PM (ET) DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. THE PROJECT: Consists of Renovations to the existing Gladiator Stadium. The Renovations will consist of approximately 16,000 square feet in total of all of the buildings including new restrooms, dressing rooms, concession stands, and support spaces, located at 2021 N. US HWY 83, in Roma, Texas, Starr County, for the Roma Independent School District. B. PROJECT COMPONENTS: 1. The new Renovations will include: demolition of the existing structures and new construction of several one-story buildings constructed on a concrete slab on grade, load bearing masonry exterior and interior walls, single ply roof, with new MEP / T systems tied into the existing stadium. A new elevator will be constructed that will be tied into the existing press box. New bleachers will be constructed on the visitors side along with ramps as required. All new structures will comply with ADA requirements. Sitework will include new utilities, new grading, retaining walls, sidewalks, ramps and stairs around the new structures. Some of the parking spaces that will be demolished will be replaced on site while the existing parking areas will remain.
