Site work for a mixed-use development in Wray, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a swimming pool; and water / sewer project.

For additional details or to answer applicable questions, please contact City Manager, James DePue, at (970) 332-4431. The Wray Aquatic Center is a seasonal public pool facility with two individual pools, a Lap Pool (200,000 gallons) and an Activity Pool (40,000 gallons). The Activity Pool is a zero-depth entry pool. The first row of return lines located under the pool have obtained a leak. American Leak Detection conducted exploratory work to pinpoint the exact location of the leak and provided a report with their findings (Exhibit B). Multiple leaks in the large activity play feature in the same location in the Activity Pool were discovered. This play feature has around 6-7 lines that go back to the pump house. The intention of the City is to remove the current activity feature, cap of supply lines and install a new, single line play feature. Currently, a 6" inlet line runs to the play feature pump and motor, with a 6" outlet manifold with 6-7 2" lines coming out of it. The current motor is 5.5 HP and will may require a smaller size pump and motor to accommodate a single line play feature. The project will require a new line to be trenched from the new play feature to the pump house. The approximate distance from the current play feature to the pump house is 100 feet. The electrical voltage at the pump house is 120/208. The location of Wray Aquatic Center is 240 W 6th Street, Wray, Colorado. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of five percent (5%) of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond issued by a surety from surety companies that are duly licensed or authorized in the jurisdiction in which the Project is located to issue bonds in the required amounts. Performance Bond will be in an amount not less the one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price but, in any event, shall provide for the completion of the project in accordance with the Contract Documents, with additional cost to the Owner. Payment Bond will be in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price but, in any event, shall provide for the payment of all project costs in accordance with the Contract Documents, without additional cost to the Owner. March 1, 2025: Work May Begin (Subject to City Approval) May 1, 2025: Project completion and final inspection.
