Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Torrington, Wyoming. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,400-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and pre-engineered storage facility.
The Project consists of, but not limited to, a new 2400 sq ft PEMB. The proposed site is located at 465 Main Street, in Torrington, WY. Facility will be used for a visitor center, artifact display and storage area, as well as parking, sidewalks, and landscaping. The work shall commence no earlier than March 2025, and the project must be complete by December 2025. Per Wyoming Statutes 16-6-102 and 16-6-106, preference is hereby given to certified resident contractors and "materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state." Goshen County Construction reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or informalities in the bidding process, and are not bound by the lowest bid, but the bid determined to be in the best interest of Goshen County Construction and the City of Torrington. Submission of a bid constitutes agreement to these terms. A contract will be awarded after the bids have been reviewed by Goshen County Construction and City of Torrington. Furnish and install a two-story, pre-engineered metal building of the length, width, eave height, and roof pitch indicated, capable of withstanding specified structural loads and exposure to weather without excessive deflection, failure, or water infiltration. The work shall include: 1. Exterior walls covered with field-assembled wall panels attached to framing members using exposed fasteners, fiberglass insulation, and vapor retarder. Endwalls are not expandable. 2. Roof system with structural-seam roofing, fiberglass insulation, and vapor retarder. 3. Parapet, mansard, and interior metal walls as shown on the drawings. 4. Framing around overhead doors. 5. Eave gutters and downspouts. 6. Framing, supports.
