Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Greenfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Work consists of the demolition and disposal of existing asphalt and concrete sidewalk, construction of approximately 3,845 L.F. of new concrete sidewalk, installation of 6 ADA compliant handicapped ramps, driveway repair, and related work on Lincoln Street. The Engineer's opinion of probable cost is $310,035.50 The Bid Security from the Contractor in the form of cash, certified check, treasurer's check, or cashier's check, drawn upon a responsible bank in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be made payable to the City of Greenfield, Massachusetts and shall be enclosed with the bid. A 50% Payment Bond will be required of the successful bidder. The responsible and eligible bidder offering the lowest price shall be awarded the project, subject to the availability of funding. The City of Greenfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Question Deadline 02/13/2025
