**As of April 16, 2025, the project was awarded to Straeffer Pump & Supply, Inc. but the awarded amount is not available.** All bidders shall be registered bidders with Bryant Engineering, which can only be accomplished by purchasing plans and specifications through our office. The work to be bid includes the installation of 11 new actuated valves within the Whitesville Wastewater Treatment Plant including all appurtenances as shown on the contract drawing and plans. Bids shall be accompanied by certified check or bid bond made payable to the City of Whitesville, in an amount not less than 5 percent of the base bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the date bids are opened. The bidder, however, shall withdraw their bid at any time prior to the time and date scheduled for opening of same or any authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed, in writing, to the ENGINEER. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five (5) business days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
