the upcoming dates and times for the next six months for various items of construction and maintenance work. a bidder must submit a proposal guaranty/bid bond with each bid as per Article 1102.11 of the Standard Specifications. the contracting authority will issue an exemption certificate for the purchase or use of building materials, supplies and equipment used in the performance of the construction contract. Failure to execute a contract and file an acceptable performance bond and certificate of insurance within 30 days of the approval date for awarding the contract will be just and sufficient cause for the denial of the award and forfeiture of the proposal guaranty. The Iowa DOT reserves the right to waive technicalities and reject any or all bids.
