Reference Number 0000286918 Invitation to tender for the supply, haul, and spread of Class A limestone within the RM of Cartier. a) The processed limestone will be well graded and will not vary from the specified maximum to minimum range for consecutive sieve sizes (marginal material will not be accepted). A maximum of 7% clean fine sand or any quantity of limestone fines may be added to achieve the required gradation. The gradation and physical requirements shall be as follows: Class A Limestone Passing Standard Sieves b) 19 mm 100% 12.50 mm 80-90% 4.75 mm 35-70% 425 µm 10-30% 75 µm 8-17% Minimum crush count (single fracture) 100% Los Angeles abrasion loss 35% The Rural Municipality of Cartier has the right to reject any proposal which contains any omissions, erasures, alterations and/or items not requested in the Invitation to Tender furnished by the Rural Municipality of Cartier.
