Site work and paving for a civil project in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
This project has 5% SBE, 3% VOB, 10% MBE and 6% WBE participation goals. Skanska intends to conduct itself in good faith with all interested subcontractors as well as certified SBE/VOB/MBE/WBE firms looking for subcontract opportunities on this project. If you are a SBE/VOB/MBE/WBE firm, please provide your certification with your proposal. All interested subcontractors, please indicate all lower tier SBE/VOB/MBE/WBE participation offered on your proposal as it will be evaluated with your price. Skanska will assist qualified subcontractors, vendors, & suppliers in obtaining bonding, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, materials and/or supplies. To permit maximum participation, when feasible Skanska will review breaking out scope packages and adjusting schedules to help permit maximum participation of SBE/VOB/MBE/WBE on the project. Subcontractor may be requested to furnish a bond, if required Skanska will pay bond premium up to 1%.
