The City of Crisfield is requesting proposals from qualified professional engineering firms to replace the City Dock located at 1300 W Main Street, Crisfield, MD, 21817. The City reserves the right to modify this RFP or the selection process, to cancel this RFP, to reject or accept any Proposal, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in any Proposal, without liability, at any time. The City of Crisfield (hereinafter referred to as the "City") is requesting proposals from qualified professional engineering firm to design and oversee the to replacement and improvements to the main portion of the Crisfield City Dock. The City of Crisfield is seeking an engineering firm to design the replacement of the current City Dock with a central dock of the same size and footprint, and an increase in 18 inches in height for storm surge and sea level rise resilience. The selected engineering firm will also perform project management of construction process of the central dock and will ensure that all federal requirements for NEPA, Section 106 and Title 6 are met, to include all documentation prior to and during the process. Project components invoices must be separated according to source funding. It is anticipated that Prospective bidders should include bids itemizing the following components of the dock upgrade: For Main Dock, with an 18 inches increase in height, Northwest pier with a 12 inches increase in height, Central pier with a 12 inches increase in height the following: o Surveying services o Construction & site plan preparation o All required permitting and NEPA, Section 106, and Title 6 documentation o Bid phase work including construction Request for Proposal process oversight o Construction phase work including project management of construction process o Transition slope to elevated dock if needed o Punch list item review and resolution o Inspections as required o Project close out
