Reference Number 0000375772 The City of Cadillac is inviting bids for the Marathon Drive Water Main Improvements Project. The work includes the following approximate quantities of major items: 3,400 Syd Aggegate Surface; 1,240 Lft of Water Main. Bonding: Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, money order, or bid bond, payable to the owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal, as a proposal guarantee. Proposal guarantee of the bidders under consideration will be returned after approval of the contract by the owner. All others will be returned within 72 hours after the proposal opening.The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond and labor and material bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Labor and Materials Bond 100 % The owner reserves the right to accept any proposal, to reject any or all proposals, and to waive any irregularities in any proposal in the interest of the owner.
