Haring Charter Township (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Water System Extension 2024 - 36 Rd, Meyer Ave, John R Rd, and Bob Rd 240156 The Project includes the following Work: Installation of approximately 2,430 LF of 8-inch watermain, 2,640 LF of 12-inch watermain and associated hydrants, valves, 29 1-inch water services, one 2-inch water service, two 6-inch water services, abandonment of 32 wells and well equipment, installation of Township standard water meters, meter pits, restoration of disturbed areas. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Water System Extension 2024 - 36 Rd, Meyer Ave, John R Rd, and Bob Rd The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Prime Contractors bidding on this project must follow, document, and maintain documentation of their Good Faith Efforts to ensure that DBEs have the opportunity to participate in the project by increasing DBE awareness of procurement efforts and outreach. Funding Compliance with the Davis Bacon Act and adherence to the current U.S. Department of Labor Wage Decision requires that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid on this project. This agreement is for services related to a project that is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements under Title IX of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act ("IIJA"), Pub. L. 177- 58. Absent an approved waiver, all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project must be produced in the United States, as further outlined by the Office of Management and Budget's Memorandum M-22-11, Initial Implementation Guidance on Application of Buy America Preference in Federal Financial Assistance Programs for Infrastructure, April 18, 2022.
