Project will include: o Water and sewer utility construction; o Storm drainage construction; o Milling existing asphalt pavement; o Asphalt resurfacing of roadways in project area; o Grading and site preparation; o Concrete sidewalk construction and masonry paver installation Question Deadline 02/28/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the City Engineer. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered All bidders must be licensed to conduct business of this nature in the State of Georgia. Bidders must be fully insured so as to save the City of Brunswick harmless as a result of any action or accident related to this project. A Bid Bond of 10% of the amount of the bid must accompany the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the total Contract amount. During the course of construction, the contractor shall have a superintendent on the site at all times during performance of the work. Monthly progress pay requests may be submitted to the City Engineer for payment. The City will honor same within 30 days after receipt. The City of Brunswick, owner, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, negotiate, waive informalities and/or make the award in the best interest of the City of Brunswick.
