Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Allegan, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; playground / park / athletic field; playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work for which bids are being requested consists of the following: traffic control, tree and brush clearing, fencing, gates, excavating, grading, culvert, gravel parking lot, concrete curb and gutter, concrete pavement, concrete sidewalk, asphalt, guardrail, pavilion, site furnishings, electrical conduit, and restoration. This project is being funded by a Recreation Passport Grant, with a total project budget of $200,000.00. Note that relevant State or Federal regulations apply. The OWNER will adjust items and quantities as necessary to stay within the allotted budget. A number of items will be completed by the Township following the contracted items as noted on the plans. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without, condition to the OWNER or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents. The contractor and all subcontractors must comply with all requirements of 1976 PA 453 (Elliott[1]Larsen Civil Rights Act), the 1976 PA 220 (Persons with Disabilities Civil Rights Act), and Executive Directive 2019- 09, as amended. In accordance with these laws, all contracts the grantee enters into must contain a covenant by the contractor and any subcontractors not to discriminate against an employee or applicant for employment with respect to hire, tenure, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment, or a matter directly or indirectly related to employment, because of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, height, weight, marital status, partisan considerations, or a disability or genetic information that is unrelated to the individual's ability to perform the duties of a particular job or position.
