**As of March 27, 2025, the project was awarded to HCG Construction but the awarded amount is not available.** Reference Number 0000375763 The City of Littleton is requesting bids for mobility and transportation safety improvement construction on Jackass Hill Road and along Mineral Avenue from Southpark Lane/Windemere Street to Jackass Hill Road. SCOPE OF WORK AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: This project is funded by a Colorado Department of Transportation ("CDOT") Safer Main Streets Grant and is also federally funded by a portion of a Denver Regional Council of Governments ("DRCOG") Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) grant. As detailed in the Plans and Specifications, Attachment F, the project includes construction of approximately 3,000 linear feet of a paved 16-foot-wide bicycle and pedestrian trail (parallel to Mineral Avenue from Peninsula Drive to Jackass Hill Road in Littleton), a retaining wall, removal and replacement of an existing traffic signal pole, and accompanying hardware and pedestrian facilities. Work will also consist of mill and overlay of approximately 10,000 square yards of asphalt mat and striping. Work also includes repaving and installing buffered bike facilities along Jackass Hill Road, as well as improved accessibility and safety improvements at multiple crossings between Mineral Avenue and the High Line Canal Trail. A buffered bicycle facility will also be installed along Mineral Avenue between Jackass Hill Road and Windermere Street/Southpark Lane. Work shall be completed within 144 calendar days of receiving the Notice to Proceed from the city.
