Dushane Parkway/Spruce Street Improvements Approximate quantities of major items of work are as follows: Remove Curb & Gutter - 2010 LF Common Excavation - 4,500 CY Aggregate Base Class 5 - 2,110 CY Bituminous Pavement - 1,300 TON Concrete Curb and Gutter - 2,600 LF RCP Storm Sewer (15"-21") - 1,050 LF 8" PVC Pipe Sewer - 505 LF 8" DIP Watermain - 100 LF 16" DIP Watermain - 550 LF Revise Lighting System - 1 LS Pavement Markings - 1,300 LF Bids must be on the basis of cash payment for the work and materials, and no bid will be considered unless accompanied by a bidder's bond, payable to the City. The bid bonds must be payable to the City of Farmington in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid is accepted and the bidder fails to promptly enter into a written contract and furnish the required bonds. The City of Farmington reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality therein, and to adjourn the meeting to a later date for the purpose of further consideration of the bids and taking action thereon. No bid may be withdrawn within 90 days after the date of opening of bids.
