Renovation of a residential development in Farmington, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Dakota County CDA reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interest of the CDA. Vacant Unit Cabinet and Countertop (Mini Cap) Replacement Project- Service Contract for Select Senior Housing and Workforce Housing Developments owned by the Dakota County CDA, all within Dakota County, MN. Scope of Work Provide all material and labor for the kitchen/bath Mini-Cap project at vacant unit turns per submitted cost of replacement per residence. Haul away all old cabinets, countertops, sinks, dishwasher, garbage disposal, debris, and anything else being replaced. All Bidders shall provide an itemized product cost list which shall include all labor, installation, taxes, and miscellaneous costs to install each listed item. Materials and products used in this bid must comply with the Product Specifications listed below. o Please use the attached design and product list provided by the CDA as your Base Bid. The low bid will be based on the cost of the "Generic Design". o The "per piece" pricing list will be used for all future projects to determine individual contracts. The contract price for each mini-cap going forward will be determined from the "per piece" list provided in this proposal. The Dakota County CDA reserves the right to cancel this contract at anytime if the contractor is not performing as a responsible contractor as set forth in these bidding documents. Installation Remove all old kitchen cabinets and bath vanities, countertops, kitchen sink, dishwasher, garbage disposal, supply lines and bath sinks. Replace all cabinets, countertops, vanity tops, range hoods, etc. per the Product Specifications. Contractor shall cut the sink opening but leave the sink basin uninstalled for the plumber's connections. Install new matching base shoe at cabinet toe kicks. Patch any wall damage and run bead of color matched paintable caulk at splash/wall intersections. Replace any toilet paper holders removed (such as attached to bath vanity).
