Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Realignment and reconstruction of Dakota Street from Campus Street to Ohio Street including installation of new storm sewer, new subbase, new drain tile, new pavement, and new sod. This project includes an alternate to reconstruction portion of West 22 nd Street from Hudson Road to the first driveway into the North Dome Parking Lot. Bids will be received for unit price contract. Bid security shall be agreed upon as the measure of liquidated damages which Owner will sustain by failure, neglect or refusal of bidder to deliver a signed contract stipulating performance of the work in unqualified compliance with Contract Documents or furnish the required 100% Contract Performance and Payment Bond within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award. Iowa Construction Sales Tax Exemption Certificates will be provided on this project. The Iowa Board of Regents seeks to provide opportunities for Targeted Small Businesses in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 73 of the Code of Iowa. This project has a participation goal for certified Targeted Small Businesses. The participation goal of 10% is specified in the Special Conditions The Iowa Board of Regents reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and to accept that bid which is deemed in the best interest of the Owner
