Main Street, Liberty Street, Cregar Avenue, Larrison Road and Cregar Road Water Main Replacement The Project consists of one (1) Base Bid. The Base Bid includes the installation of approximately 2,200 LF of 8" DIP water main on Main Street - from Center Street to the terminus, Liberty Street - from Main Street to Fairview Avenue, Cregar Avenue - from approximately 300 LF south of the terminus to Cregar Road, Larrison Road - from Cregar Avenue to Fairview Avenue, and Cregar Road - from Buffalo Hollow Road to approximately 150 LF east of Robin Lane. Work shall include installing valves and hydrants, connection of water services, abandonment of existing water mains, and trench restoration All work on this contract must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. High Bridge, and must be accompanied by a statement of consent of surety from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Owner and either a bid bond or a certified check drawn to the order of Borough of High Bridge for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder is hereby notified that a performance bond and labor and material (payment) bond for the full amount of this project is required. The right is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Owner, except as to those items which are deemed mandatory and non-waivable set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.2. Further, the Owner reserves the right to abandon the project and reject the bids entirely if any legal or state or federal administrative action is taken against the Owner which could delay or jeopardize the project from commencing.
