A. Work under this Contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, services and transportation, except as specifically excluded which is required for completion of Project in accordance with provisions of Contract Documents. B. Work to be included as part of this Contract but not necessarily be limited to the following major elements 1. Rough and Finish grading and demolition where shown on plans. 2. Soil preparation, excavating, over excavating, compacting, etc. 3. Construction of concrete foundations for the new modular buildings. 4. Construction of tie-ins for the new modular buildings to the existing site utility systems including water, power, sanitary sewer, storm drain, communications, fire alarm, data and intercom where shown on plans. 5. Excavation, backfill, compacting and repaving of all trenches. 6. Concrete landings, ramps and stairs where shown on plans. 7. Provision of new asphalt concrete, concrete paving and concrete work where shown on plans. 8. Sheet metal flashing at base of modular buildings where shown on plans. 9. Galvanized handrails. 10. Painting of all new exposed surfaces on modular buildings including conduit, wood and sheet metal. 11. Concrete block where shown on plans. 12. Chain link fences and gates where shown on plans. The new modular buildings shall include, but not necessarily be limited to the following major elements 1. In-plant construction of modular buildings by SCM and transportation to school site. 2. SCM to coordinate placement on concrete foundation, assemble and structurally connect modular units. Scope of work which in their opinion will best serve the needs of the District. The FVSD prequalification process is web based. Prequalification documents must be submitted prior to February 19, 2025. The Board of Trustee reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity therein. The right is also reserved by the Board of Trustees to select items and/or scope of work which in their opinion will best serve the needs of the District.
