The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any technicalities or irregularities therein. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidders, whose bids meets the requirements and criteria set forth in this Invitation to Bid. Project Description: INTRODUCTION: The Town of Palm Beach, Florida ("The Town") is hereby inviting qualified General Contractors to submit competitive bids for the renovation and repair of the 2nd-floor wood structural columns in the Raymond Floyd Club House, Par-3 building. No work will be allowed outside the Town's construction season which ends on October 31, 2025, and official Town holidays. Contractors are required to provide a work schedule. Engineers' opinion of probable construction timeline is 60 days. The new engineer's opinion of probable construction costs is - $309,156.84 The awarded bidder must provide all labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the work specified herein. The Town considers the months of July, August, and September to be a highly ideal time for the timeline for this project timeline. However, the Town will still consider proposals that may be outside that window of time. SITE VISIT/ PRE-BID MEETING: A MANDATORY Site Visit/ Pre-Bid meeting will be held at the Raymond Floyd Club House, Par 3 Building located at 2345 South Ocean Boulevard, Palm Beach, Florida 33480. Date/Time are specified in the "Events" section. In addition to being mandatory for submitting a proposal, attendance is strongly encouraged as this will be the only forum to seek clarification directly from Project Manager and Town staff. AWARD: Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid meets the requirements and criteria set forth in this Invitation to Bid. The Town reserves the right to award to that bidder who will best serve the interests of the Town, and to accept or reject any and/or all bids and to award or not award a contract based on this bid proposal. The Town reserves the right to award on an all-or-none or a line-by-line basis. Prices quoted must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the close of the bid. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: Based on the understanding that this project requires 60 days to complete, the Town has allocated a 90-day window. Liquidated damages will commence on the 91st day from the agreed-upon start date. While the work is necessary, it imposes a financial burden on both the restaurant operator and the Town, thereby affecting sales. If the project is not finished within the allocated 90-day period, liquidated damages will be applied as follows: Days 91-100: $250 per day Days 101-110: $500 per day Day 111 onward: $1,000 per day QUESTIONS: Any questions related to this solicitation should be submitted through this software platform using the Messages/Vendor Discussion feature. The Town asks that to minimize any disruption to restaurant or pro-shop operations, the vendor alert Town staU of their planned visit.
