This is a Request for Information (RFI) - this is not a request for competitive pricing or a process for the Town of Palm Beach (Town) to purchase. The purpose of this RFI is to gather information. The Town of Palm Beach, hereby issues this Request for Information (RFI) seeking information and preliminary proposals for a lighting system to safely illuminate the athletic field at Seaview Park (approximately 120 yards by 60 yards) for children's practices and games after sunset. While TV-broadcast-level lighting is not required, the system must provide adequate illumination for safe play up to age 14. Due to community concerns, proposals should emphasize minimizing pole height, reducing light pollution, and blending aesthetically with the park's surroundings. Interested vendors are requested to provide information regarding their ability to provide a lighting system to safely illuminate the athletic field at Seaview Park. It is important that responses be submitted by the date and time listed above. Town reserves the right to turn this solicitation into formal by issuing a Request to Negotiate to the top or top ranked proposers through this RFI process.
