Renovation of a mixed-use development in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This project is to replace the existing pool air handling unit and assess and resolve water intrusion issues below the pool. The project scope consists of, but is not limited to: Designing a replacement air handling unit for the pool area, to include assessing any other mechanical or electrical upgrades that might need to be addressed to handle a newer unit. Adjacent to the pool on the exterior of the building, groundwater seeps into the mechanical room below. Solutions to correct this issue will be part of the scope, though the corrections may or may not become part of the construction scope of this project. Reviewing the potential for an early procurement package to accommodate equipment lead times. Photos of the area and the original drawing of the pool area are included in Attachment 3. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The preliminary construction cost estimate is $800,000 - $1,000,000.
