Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Prosser, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Prosser invites separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the Alexander Court Improvements - Phase 1, Fed Aid No. STBG-CRPUS-3729(001), TIB Project No. 8-4-923(006)-1, HLA Project No. 23031 including the following approximate major quantities of work: Alexander Court Improvements - Phase 1 reconstructs Alexander Court from Patterson Ave to Highland Drive and includes 5,850 SY of cement treated base subgrade, 1,500 TON of HMA, 900 SY conc. sidewalk, 1,800 LF of traffic curb and gutter, 15 curb ramps and all associated work. This contract has fifty (50) working days to complete the work. Project construction shall occur while the Prosser School District is on summer break in 2026. Alapeteri, PE, at 509-966-7000 or talapeteri@hlacivil.com Question Deadline 10/31/2025 Prospective Bidders desiring an explanation or interpretation of the Bid Documents, shall request the explanation or interpretation in writing by close of business four (4) business days preceding the bid opening to allow a written reply to reach all prospective Bidders before the submission of their Bids. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by bond or a certified check, payable to the order of the Treasurer of the City of Prosser for the sum of not less than 5% of said bid or proposal and none will be considered unless accompanied by such deposit, to be forfeited to the City of Prosser in the event the successful bidder shall fail or refuse to enter into a Contract with the City for the making and construction of the aforesaid improvement. All bids or proposals must be in writing on the form bound in the Specifications, sealed and filed with the Clerk on or before the day and hour above mentioned. The project is funded through the Federal Highway Administration and Transportation Improvement Board with federal funds from the Carbon Reduction Program (CRP). All Federal Highway Administration and Transportation Improvement Board requirements and/or provisions must be met by the Contractor and all subcontractors. The City of Prosser reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities, and after careful consideration of all bids and factors involved, make the award to best serve the interests of the City of Prosser.
