**As of July 9, 2025, the project was awarded Accountable Construction & Environmental ServiceS, with an awarded amount of$66,124.59.** Sealed proposals will be accepted for the Red Blend Villas Sidewalk and Street Light Improvements. This contract will not include working days, however the project shall be completed on or before July 25, 2025. Scope Of work - The City is seeking bid proposals from qualified Contractors to excavate, prepare sidewalk subgrade, place crushed surfacing top course, construct cement concrete sidewalk, construct ADA curb ramps and install solar street lights on Vineyard Street in the Red Blend Development. The scope of work shall include the following: Excavate sidewalk and ADA curb ramp areas to 6 inches below the existing top of curb, excavation shall be disposed of by the Contractor. o Grade and compact the existing subgrade, city personnel will visually inspect the compaction. o Place and compact 2 inch depth of crushed surfacing top course on sidewalk grade and ADA curb ramp areas, city personnel will visually inspect the compaction. o Form and pour cement concrete sidewalk 4 foot wide and 4 inch depth as per attached City Standard Detail ST-5. o Form and pour cement concrete ADA curb ramps as per attached WSDOT Standard Plan F-40.16-03 Type Single Direction A and Type Parallel B. o Cement concrete for sidewalk and ADA curb ramps shall be 6 sack mix, 564 lbs of cement per cubic yard. o There are a total of six (6) each precast street light bases onsite. Four (4) street light bases are installed, however, three (3) street light bases need to be removed and relocated, the Contractor shall remove the 3 bases and relocate the bases to locations as designated by the City, approximate locations are shown on the attached map. The Contractor shall backfill and compact the void left from removal. o The precast street light base dimensions are as follows: o 4 each, 3/4 inch diameter anchor studs threaded o 8 inch square on center spacingo Install street light pole, roadway arm, solar street light lamp and verify operation.
