Middleborough Gas & Electric Department requests that qualified and experienced Trade Contractors submit Trade Contractor Statements of Qualifications Forms for renovations to the customer service center at 32 South Main Street, Middleborough, MA. SOQs are sought for the following categories of work: Plumbing; Electrical. Contractor Qualification DCAMM Certificate The Middleborough Gas & Electric Department will be performing a construction renovation of their existing customer service center. The project entails the demo and build out of new office space including an ADA Restroom, customer lobby, and storage room. Work on site will begin in June 2025. The project is composed of a single bid package including but not limited to demo, structural steel, MEP, and architectural construction work. The project will be subject to the minimum wage rates set under the Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Laws. The total estimated cost of the Project is approximately $560,000 and the construction duration is approximately six (6) months. A web based project management system has been employed for this project. The Construction Manager shall utilize the system for project communication, tracking, etc. Under Massachusetts state law, the MGED is not obligated to comply with minority-owned business or women-owned business participation goals. However, it is MGED's intent to encourage M/WBE participation to the greatest extent possible, and firms having M/WBE certification from the Office of Supplier Diversity (OSD) shall receive additional consideration in the pre-qualification process.
