Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work includes but is not limited to HMA leveling, patching and paving of roadways, driveway aprons and sidewalks, adjusting and/rebuilding sewer and drainage structures, adjusting valve boxes, pavement reclamation, milling, excavation, backfill, grading, HMA berm, line painting at various road locations and all incidental work necessary to complete the work. A MassDOT pre-qualification certificate of approval will be required to bid on the Contract. Working days are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Any work outside of these hours must be pre-approved by Director of Public Works The total contract price of this contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials necessary for the complete and satisfactory performance as determined in the sole discretion of the Town. The purpose of this project is to provide the Owner with equipment, materials, and labor as detailed in these specifications in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local statutes, laws and regulations. No claims for additional costs will be allowed because of lack of knowledge of the existing conditions. The Bidder, through submission of its bid, acknowledges that the nature of the work may require several mobilizations in order to complete work during the course of the contract and on this basis, the cost inherent which such mobilizations has been included by the Bidder within its stipulated bids item unit prices. The Bidder also acknowledges that the Bid quantities are good faith estimates of the work anticipated to be performed during the contract period and the Bidder shall not be entitled to any additional compensation beyond the stipulated unit prices for the actual use during the contract period of more or less quantity as herein defined.
