Paint all Ceilings in public areas and all classrooms, approximately 110,000 sq.ft - Paint all ceilings in public areas and all classrooms (approximately 110,000 sq.ft.) - Caulk all walls to ceilings - Paint any conduit that is close to ceiling along walls - Cover all surface areas, furniture, floors, walls, light fixtures, utilizing drop clothes during all surface preparation. - Clean and paint HVAC grills to match. - Apply 3 coats of Sherwin Williams Pro Block to all texture ceilings to prevent bleed back. All questions regarding this request must be submitted via email to Michelle Ramey, Chief Deputy Purchasing Agent at michelle.ramey@sullivancountytn.gov no later than 03/04/2025, the end of the business day. All questions will be answered in an addendum which will be issued on February 27, 2025. A bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of the bid is required. Certified checks should be made payable to Sullivan County Trustee. The successful bidder will be required to execute acceptable Performance Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. This project is being funded by the Sullivan County Department of Education. By submission of a signed bid, the bidder certifies total compliance with Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, and all regulations promulgated thereunder. All bidders must be licensed State of Tennessee Contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1994 (TCA Title 62, Chapter 6). The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality or irregularity in the bid received and to accept or reject any and all items of any bid. No Bidder may modify, withdraw, or cancel a bid within Sixty (60) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
