Proposed equals must be submitted before 5:00 PM, Central Time on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 The project consists of street reconstruction improvements at Spc Eric Salinas St. and Judge Alex Trejo Rd. Improvements include 2" HMAC, 6" of limestone base material, Tensar Geogrid TX-5, ditch regrading, driveway repairs, sidewalk repair, and related appurtenances as shown on the plans and as required by the specifications in Primera, Texas. The deadline to ask questions is 2/19/2025 5:00 PM CST No oral interpretations will be made to any bidder. Each request for clarification shall be made in writing to the Grant Recipient or engineer no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening. Each interpretation made will be in the form of an Addendum to the contract documents and will be distributed to all parties holding contract documents no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening. It is, however, the bidder's responsibility to make inquiry as to any addenda issued. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Primera or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The City of Primera reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by City of Primera for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
