Renovation of a museum in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
Conservation of the Quadriga at the State Capitol Building includes but is not limited to the cleaning and conservation of the sculptures and gold leaf as specified, selective replacement of anchors, replacement of bird screen, and recoating of the base shroud. Lead Conservator responsible for this project is a trained conservator experienced in the types of metal, repairs, gilding, and finishing required. Conservator should be a professional member of the American Institute for Conversation (AIC) and all work must follow the AIC Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice. Experience installing and finishing new metal sculpture is insufficient experience for historic treatment work on metal sculpture. Lead Conservator must have at least five (5) years of experience with large, exterior sculpture conservation similar in scope and scale to this project. Question Deadline 03/28/2025 at 2:00 PM CT
