Etowah River Park Canoe Launch Construction March 24, 2025 Vendors Questions Submitted via email to Adam.Dodson@cantonga.gov March 26, 2025 Vendor Questions Answered via email and Posted on Website by 4:00pm The City of Canton partnered with the University of Georgia's Capstone Program to engineer a new canoe launch site at Etowah River Park. Attached you will find drawings. The contractor shall provide all elements shown on engineered plans. Shaping the terrain to create a suitable launch platform with proper slope and drainage. The contractor shall provide licensed, qualified personnel and will provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and any other specialized tools necessary. The vendor is responsible for all debris removal. Time To Completion: The time allowed for substantial completion is 120 days, and the time allowed for completion and readiness for final payment is 150 days from the date a notice to proceed is issued by the City of Canton. All bids will remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after the date of the bid opening, but the owner may, at its sole discretion, release any bid and return the bid security prior to that date. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and re-advertise.
