The project will provide curb, gutters, landscaped pedestrian buffers, sidewalks, bicycle lanes, and streetlights. The signal at 67th and 44th will be upgraded with audible pedestrian signals. Contrasting pavement markings, pedestrian/bicycle amenities, and speed feedback signs will also be provided. Existing median islands will be expanded/enhanced to reduce vehicle speeds. Pedestrian accessibility ramps and landings will be constructed at all intersections to conform to the current WSDOT design standards.
