Sentinel Drive Culvert Replacement Improvement Project (4800 Sentinel Drive). Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the amount equal to 10% of the bid. The bid guarantee shall be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check; payable to the City of Brecksville. The bid guarantee ensures that if said bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. Bidders will be required to comply with Chapter 4115 ofthe Ohio Revised Code, pertaining to wages and hours on public works. The anticipated project award is March 4, 2025 and pending the contracts being executed, the Notice to Proceed will follow within 1 -week ofthe award. The project schedule has included time for the culvert to be precast and additional time for construction. The City requires the project being completed within 16-weeks of issuance ofthe Notice to Proceed. The City of Brecksville reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received and to accept any bids which it deems most favorable and to disregard all nonconforming, incomplete, or conditional bids or counter proposals; and to conduct investigations to assist in the evaluation of any bid so as to establish qualifications, responsibility, and financial ability of the contractor or sub-contractor to complete the work in accordance with the contract documents to the City's satisfaction within the prescribed time.
