Site work for a water / sewer project in Southport, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The major components of the Work are as follows: Installation of approximately 835 m of 200 mm diameter PVC watermain by trenchless and open-cut methods. Abandonment or removal of existing hydrants, gate valves, and asbestos cement watermain. Installation of hydrant assemblies, gate valves, and other appurtenances. Reconnection of water services and existing watermains. Completion of flushing, hydrostatic leakage testing, disinfection, and bacteriological testing of the new watermain. Pavement and landscape surface restorations. Providing temporary water supply, if required.
