Renovation of a municipal facility in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
**As of April 7th, 2025, the project was awarded to Dulmes Decor, Inc, with an awarded amount of $34,626.04.** Sheboygan County is soliciting bids for the replacement of floor coverings in two office suites in the Sheboygan County Administration Building, 508 New York Avenue, Sheboygan WI 53081. The project involves the staged replacement of broadloom carpeting in two distinct office suites in the building including removal and disposal of the existing carpet and vinyl base, preparation of the floor surface and complete installation of carpet modules including new vinyl base and any necessary transitions. The work will need to occur in phases to accommodate disassembly, removal and re-installation of office workstations. All bids must remain in effect for not less than sixty (60) days following the due date. Sheboygan County reserves the right to reject any bid, cancel this solicitation, waive any informality associated with the bid process and accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of Sheboygan County The following scope of services is included as a guide for the proposer. The bidder shall consider this to be the MINIMUM level of services expected from the Contractor. A. The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools and related services required for the performance of the contract. The Contractor will be expected to provide all carpet, vinyl flooring, carpet nosing, vinyl cove base and transition strips, as well as Glues and adhesives as may be required for a complete, turnkey installation. B. The County has chosen specific carpet modules for the areas to be affected. C. The contractor shall be responsible for complete removal and disposal of existing floor coverings as well as proper preparation of the substrate to accept the new materials. D. Working closely with County Staff, the contractor and County Staff shall establish and agree upon a work plan in advance of the actual work being performed. This will assure that all materials, furnishings, fixtures etc. can be adequately removed from the work area just preceding installation. E. County Staff will be wholly responsible for moving of all furnishings from the designated areas as dictated by the work plan. Return of these materials to the area following installation will also be performed by County Staff. F. The Contractor understands that a portion of the work will be done while the building is open to the public and as such, careful planning and good communication between the Contractor and County Staff is essential to avoid disruption in the office areas as well as to the general public. G. The Contractor understands that the work will need to be performed in phases to allow for proper curing of adhesives following install prior to re-setting the furnishings.
