Lakeshore Pump Station Wastewater Sampler Replacement The District is a tax exempt entity. Bids shall itemize major work items including but not limited to 1) refrigerated sampler system 2) suction line and strainer 3) freight and 4) installation, setup and training. Description of Work. The following summarizes the major work items that provide a complete and operable system: 1. removals and demolition 2. provide and install new wastewater sampler equipment (1) as a complete system a. suction head conditions 20 vf, channel invert to mechanical room floor by OWNER b. refrigerated, interior use, control -40 to 120 deg F c. enclosure, insulated d . sample pump e. sample Insurance. The successful bidder must furnish certificate of liability insurance and Workers Compensation insurance. The completion date of project will be negotiated at the time of contract award, but not later than April 25th, 2025. Contractor must substantially complete the work in two (2) consecutive calendar days. Bid Security. A satisfactory Bid Bond or other Statutory security, payable to the Town of Wilson Sanitary District no. 1, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the bid. OWNER reserves the right to retain the security as liquidated damages if the BIDDER fails to execute the Contract Documents. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, cancel this solicitation, waive any informality associated with the bid process, and award the bid deemed most advantageous to the District.
