The majority work of this contract is generally described as follows:2,900 SY Staging & Laydown Pad 140,000 CY Topsoil Stripping & Stockpiling 12,000CY Onsite Excavation/Fill/Compaction 270,000 CY Offsite Fill/Compaction 80,000 CY 6" Topsoil Respread 12,500 LF Silt Fence80 Ditch Checks 600 SY Channel Erosion Mat 22,000 SY Non-Channel Erosion Mat73.7 AC Temporary Seeding Permanent o Seeding/Fertilizer/Mulch Outlet controls for Pond A and B 13,400 CY 2' Compacted Clay Linero 343 15" Drain Tile o 2 Drain Tile Manholes2 Emergency Spillway so Pre-Bid Qualification: All bidders shall be required to file or have on file a valid Bidder's Proof of Responsibility form with the Engineering Division, City of Sheboygan, not less than five (5) days prior to the time of opening of these bids. Only bidders who have demonstrated their qualifications to perform the work will be permitted to bid.Forms are included in the proposed contract documents. Bid Security: A satisfactory Bid Bond,payable to the City of Sheboygan, WI, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the bid.
