Site work and paving for a civil project in Urbandale, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The NORTHVIEW PARK TRAIL REPLACEMENT shall include: Approximately 2,000 SY of PCC Trail Approximately 60 LF of RCP Storm Sewer Related items including removals, restoration, traffic control, erosion control, and survey. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid upon and will furnish after the award of contract a corporate surety bond, in a form acceptable to the City, for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the amount of the contract. The bid security must be in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount including all add alternates (do not deduct the amount of deduct alternates). The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, said bond to be issued by a responsible surety and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment for all materials and labor and protect and save harmless the City, from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operation of the Contractor. Contractor shall fully complete the project by September 25, 2026. The City of Urbandale reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
