Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Easley, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The School District of Pickens County, hereafter referred to as the "District" or "SDPC", is accepting competitive sealed bids from qualified paving contractors to provide all labor and materials to repave the drives and parking areas at Dacusville Middle School (899 Thomas Mill Road, Easley 29640 (please direct questions in writing to Julie Hunter at procurement@pickens.k12.sc.us ) QUESTIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY: Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 2:00 PM The existing pavement is to be removed by milling and a cement modified recycled base (CMRB) installed at 8" uniform at 50#/ SY for Portland cement (method A) with surface type C asphalt installed at 220#/ SY compacted to 95% standard proctor. Signage (provided by owner) is to be installed as shown. There are three alternates. Alternate #1 is to include repaving of the drive loop and parking lot adjacent to the gymnasium using CMRB installed at 8" uniform at 50#/SY for Portland cement (method A) with surface type C asphalt installed at 220#/SY compacted to 95% standard proctor. Alternate #2 is to sealcoat the drive loop (3 coats) and parking lot (2 coats) adjacent to the gymnasium as noted. Alternate #3 is to remove the concrete patch (approximately 12' x 52') in front of the school and replace using maintenance stone and repave using CMRB installed at 8" uniform at 50#/SY for Portland cement (method A) with surface type C asphalt installed at 220#/SY compacted to 95% standard proctor.
