Letnikof Cove Float Removal The work will consist of disconnecting two damaged float sections from their existing mooring points, lowering mooring chains to the sea floor and marking with buoys suitable for all weather conditions, secured with lines adequate for future retrieval of chains. Contractor shall tow float sections to southwest corner of Letnikoff Cove and push onto the beach. Add alternate 1. Pull float sections on to the beach and secure the entirety of damaged float sections to prevent them from floating away. Add Alternate 2. Dismantle and dispose of damaged float sections. All work shall be completed without damaging or altering existing gangway, wooden trestle, pilings, and launch ramp. Clean-up of any debris shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Restoration of any damaged upland areas to the original condition shall be the responsibility of the contractor.
