DESCRIPTION OF WORK. The WORK includes replacing approximately 5000 square feet of failing concrete board lap siding. The awarded contractor shall remove and dispose of the existing siding, along with trim and flashing as needed. Replace with with ASC PC40-12 with nailing flange for direct attachment. This change will necessitate replacing the parapet caps with matching new caps which can be purchased from ASC Building Products either pre-fabricated or purchased as sheet goods for job site fabrication. Standard trim profiles for window and doors will be available prefabricated from ASC Building Products. Color to be selected by owner. The new siding should be installed according to manufacturer's recommendations and be completed with appropriate trim and flashing as needed. SCHEDULE. The Contractor shall be ready to begin no later than 30 days after the Notice to Proceed. SITE OF WORK. The site of the WORK is at the Haines Borough School in Haines, Alaska. COMPLETION OF WORK. The WORK must be completed by August 1, 2026 DEADLINE FOR BIDDER QUESTIONS. 7/8/2025 at 12 p.m. (noon) Alaska Time. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE.
