Kanawha St. (Map 17, Parcel 313) Land disturbances of 5,000 square feet to 25,000 square feet will require a Class 1 Land Disturbance Permit. This will also require an erosion and sediment control plan that must be approved by the Beckley Sanitary Board. All controls must be installed according to the approved plan and in place priorto demolition activities. Any sub-grade structural elements must be removed, or broken up to the specifications of the Beckley Sanitary Board. 813 N. Oakwood Ave. (Map 11, Parcel 134) The Common Council for the City of Beckley is accepting bids from qualified firms for: asbestos inspection and abatement, demolition, and disposal of 13 structures in Beckley. Bids that do not include all structures will be rejected. The City of Beckley reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part of any bid without cause.
