** As of March 20, 2025, project was cancelled, No definite date for the rebid ** The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony, in accordance with Tribal procedures, will receive Sealed RFP from individuals or firms to replace existing HVAC units and install new ice chiller system located at the Hungry Valley Recreation Center 9075 Eagle Canyon Dr, Sparks, Washoe County, Nevada. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to acquire all necessary licenses and permits prior to commencement of work and to comply with all applicable Tribal, City, County, State and Federal Laws, regulations and codes. The Contractor shall be responsible for any/all types of insurance, tax, permit, fee, license, or other expense(s) required due to his services under this contract, unless otherwise stated herein. If applicable any/all construction material used within this contract is subject to Reno-Sparks Indian Colony Tribal Jurisdiction and reporting of such will be directly to the Reno-SparksIndian Colony. The RSIC is requesting proposals from individuals or firms to replace existing HVAC units and install new ice chiller system located at the Hungry Valley Recreation Center 9075 Eagle Canyon Dr, Reno, Washoe County, Nevada. More specifically, proposer shall provide a formal quote detailing product description and quantities, complete company contact information including salespersons name and contact information, pricing and delivery options for the sale and delivery, including the removal and disposal of the current HVAC units and installation of 4 no. new HVAC units (AHU's) and procurement and installation of a new Thermal Energy Storage ("TES") system which will provide cooling & de-humidification to the 4 no HVAC units/AHU's. the TES shall comprise (as a minimum) the following: The TES will include an icemaking chiller(s), tank(s), glycol, glycol management system, glycol pumps, heat exchanger(s), associated piping/valves, associated controls, the labor to install each of these and the concrete pad the system rests on. The scope shall also include all necessary small electrical controls and power wiring. The scope shall also include full start-up, commissioning & balancing of the both the new HVAC units/AHU's and the TES. New HVAC system must meet the following requirements: - Removal of 4 existing AHU's and replaced with new AHUs of similar specifications. - Removal of existing water boilers. The new AHUs shall each be provided with individual direct gas fired burner sections, each with dedicated exhaust flues. - New combustion air make-up louvers. - Replacement to the 2 no. existing duct mounted re-heat coils with 2 no. electric reheat coils. - Replacement of the existing plant space unit heater with a new, direct gas fired unit heater. - Purchase and installation of new chiller system (including necessary civil and structural for concrete padding). Proposer must state warranty terms for proposed replacement. RSIC desires a standard one-year parts and labor warranty. Provide details for extended warranty plus any additional warranty and/or product support. The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony (RSIC) reserves the right to accept or refuse any and or all proposals.
