Reference Number 0000376814 Delivery Point: Multiple Locations This project involves the rehabilitation of three alluvial wells. The three wells are Wells AL-2, AL-13R, & AL-16, which are located in the Castle Rock South and Central Wellfields. CR Water would like to have the Scope of Work completed by end of May 2025. All requests for additional information must identify the person/vendor requesting the information. The Town anticipates a Notice of Award on or around March 14, 2025. The construction duration will be 90 calendar days to final completion. Well AL-2 (76719-F): Well AL-2 is located in the Central Well Field and is a vertical well drilled in 2012. Well AL-2 is 65 ft. total depth and 25 ft. of stainless wire wrap screen. AL-2 was last rehabilitated in January 2020. The recent production data shows a reduction in pumping by nearly half of its 2020 production, indicating the potential of biofouling. Well AL-13R (34854-FR): Well AL-13R is located in the South Well Field. This is a horizontal well constructed in 2016. The well was constructed with horizontal directional drilling technology and the pump was installed in the horizontal the following year. The completion and the pump installation reports are attached. Well AL-13R is 731 ft. with 140 ft. of stainless wire-wrapped screen, and 140 ft. of slotted casing. Well AL-13R pump installation reports that the top of pump is installed at 200 ft. below ground. Well AL-16 (79529-F): Well AL-16 is located in the Central Well Field. Well AL-16 is a vertical well with horizontal arms, with the pump located in the vertical, drilled in 2016. Well AL-16 is 56 ft. total depth and 10 ft. of stainless wire wrap screen. The recent production data shows a reduction in pumping with an increase in the water level. This may be an indicator of biofouling in the well. If awarded the project, a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond are required within ten days of the date the written Notice of Award, each for the total amount of the Contract Price. No Bidder may withdraw a Bid for a period of Thirty days after the date fixed for opening the Bids. The Town of Castle Rock reserves the right to cancel this Invitation to Bid; reject any Bid, in whole or in part; to adjust the quantity of Work to be done as mandated by budgetary requirements; and to waive informalities or irregularities in the Bids received; when it is in the Town's best interest to do so.
