The objectives of this Project-Specific DSR were to identify building materials that may be disturbed during work related to the installation and replacement of nurse call cabling and equipment in various areas on Level 2; specifically identifying materials that may contain any of the eleven designated substances. For any materials confirmed or suspected to contain designated substances, recommendations are provided for handling and disposal. The proposed scope of work for this Project-specific DSR included: Review of the current facility-wide designated substances report; Co-ordinate an on-site assessment with QCH personnel; Collection of bulk samples of accessible building materials that may be disturbed during the project which have not been assessed previously; Submission of bulk samples to an accredited laboratory for analysis of suspected designated substances; and Prepare a report outlining scope, methodology, findings and recommendations. The bid bond shall name the Owner as oblige, and shall be signed, sealed, dated and issued by both Biddery and a surety licensed to conduct surety and insurance business in Ontario. The Bid security is for the benefit of the Owner and stands as security that the Bidder, if awarded the Contract, will deliver the performance security and evidence of insurance and other documents required by these Instructions to Bidders or by the Contract, and will execute the Contract. The Bid security shall remain valid for the duration of the Irrevocability Period as measured from the date of Bid submission. No other form of Bid security is acceptable.
